Open House Waiver – 60 Minute Version

OPEN HOUSE is an immersive escape game that takes place during an open house property viewing. For the 60-minute version, you will have 60 minutes to work together to find clues, solve puzzles, and complete challenges to progress and escape.

Age Restriction

The 60-minute experience is suitable for persons aged 13 and above. If you are asked to verify your age and cannot produce a valid photo ID or passport, you will be refused entry.

Content Warning

By entering this experience, you understand that it may include scenarios, scenes, and exhibits that some attendees might find distressing. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Blood stains
  • References to death and murder
  • Dimly lit rooms and spaces
  • Loud/ sudden noises
  • Scary masks

Safety Notice

The property is ancient, and metal Acro props have been installed to prevent it from collapsing. Do not interfere with these safety measures. Doing so will result in the immediate termination of your experience.

This experience does not require climbing ladders or crawling through tunnels. However, it may not be suitable for individuals with certain physical disabilities unless ScreamWorks has been notified in advance and has agreed in writing to modify the event to meet your access needs.

Health and Safety

You may be exposed to the following during the experience:

  • Strobe lighting
  • Loud music
  • Chlorinated steam, similar to that used in public spas

This experience is not suitable for individuals with epilepsy, respiratory conditions, or heart conditions (including high or low blood pressure).

Entry Restrictions

You will not be permitted entry to the experience if:

  • You appear to be under the influence of drugs or excessive quantities of alcohol.
  • You cannot produce valid photo ID upon request to confirm your age.

Allergy Information

If you have allergies, you must adhere to the following:

  • Do not eat or drink anything inside the event.
  • If you have contact allergies (e.g., latex, chlorine, smoke, haze, or house dust), inform ScreamWorks via email before attending.

Safe Word / Action

You can terminate the experience at any time by looking up towards a CCTV camera and saying “Red, Red, Red”. You can also terminate the experience by holding both hands above your head for a sustained period of ten seconds. If anyone in your group uses their safe word or safe action, then the experience will be terminated for the entire group. Re-entry will not be possible, and no refunds will be given.

Your Behaviour

ScreamWorks reserves the right to refuse admission to a Customer, or to eject them from the Attraction at any point, if in Management’s reasonable opinion the Customer: is acting in a threatening, aggressive, or excessively forceful manner; uses threatening, abusive, or insulting language; appears to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs; poses a risk to the safety of Attraction staff, performers, other visitors, or to the set and scenery, props and equipment; may detract from the enjoyment of other Customers; fails, when required, to produce proof of identity and age; or, fails to comply with instructions given by the Attraction’s staff. No refunds will be given to Customers who are refused entry or ejected due to unacceptable behaviour.
